Editorial Reviews

This interactive workbook is positive, practical, and easy to use. In particular, I appreciate the sensitivity to individuals on the spectrum. This is so important, as we need to nurture the fragile self-esteem of many adolescents with AS. Thanks to Ellen Korin, parents and clinicians now have a valuable resource for helping young people with AS understand themselves and become active partners in developing a variety of skills, as well as managing their own behavior. --Diane Adreon, Associate Director, University of Miami/Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism & Related Disabilities

This workbook enables children and youth with AS to see their strengths and examine their challenges in validating, positive way. By emphasizing positive discovery, this gem of a workbook leads to greater self-awareness as the person on the autism spectrum builds his own personal profile of who he is and develops an appreciation for what it is to be a fellow human being. --Stephen Shore, author of BEYOND THE WALL and President Emeritus of the Asperger's Association of New England

Ellen Korin's idea of a 'owner's manual' for someone with Asperger Syndrome is outstanding! The book is well thought out, written in easy-to-understand language and is full of practical applications that help demystify the complexity of AS. A great road map for the journey of self-advocacy and self-determination! --Ronda Schelvan, M.S.Ed., Autism Consultant, Special Education Teacher, and Co-Author of "The Hidden Curriculum
