Dolly Bhargava

Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) and Masters of Special Education

Dolly Bhargava completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech Pathology from the University of Sydney, a Master of Special Education from the University of Newcastle, and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Upon graduation she began her career working at a number of support agencies as a speech pathologist including the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care NSW, Royal Institute for the Deaf and Blind Children of NSW, Alzheimer’s Association of Western Australia, Neurosciences Unit and Autism Association of Western Australia.

Midway through her career she realised her passion was in supporting children, adolescents and adults with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). She started working extensively with individuals with EBD in a variety of contexts such as family homes, childcare centres, schools, respite care, post school options, employment services and corrective services.

She has authored a range of books (A to Z of Challenging Behaviour Book Series, Positive Behaviour Support Book Series, Cyberbullying Series and Taking CHARGE of my Rainbow of Emotions). She has also developed the Behaviour Help App (www.behaviourhelp.com) and Rainbow of Emotions App (rainbowofemotions.app). She has created these resources based on the practical wisdom she has gathered from working with individuals with EBD, their families, educators and professionals over the last 21 years. She hopes these resources will equip people with the knowledge, skills and tools to help their child learn positive ways of behaving and managing their emotions.
