About the Author

Dr. Emma Goodall is an autistic author, keynote speaker, researcher, and disability and education consultant. She works publicly and privately to facilitate the best life outcomes possible for autistics with various support needs. Dr. Goodall has written and presented on education, autism, resilience, mental health, interoception, relationships, and sexuality for autistics. An adjunct Professor at the University of Wollongong and a member of the Australian Society for Autism Research (ASfAR) Executive Committee, she has developed an online module on interoception for Torrens University. In addition, she has collaborated with the Australian Psychological Society to create an autism-specific course for psychologists. Widely published, Emma writes for academic journals and mainstream publishers in autism, disability, education, and disability. She also supports organizations in developing and implementing plans to help adult autistics in residential settings and provides life coaching for autistic adults through her Healthy Possibilities Consultancy.

Yenn Purkis is an autistic and non-binary author, presenter, and advocate. Yenn is a passionate advocate for the rights of autistic people. Yenn facilitates the Canberra Autism Women's Group and has had several media engagements. Yenn has given a presentation for TEDx Canberra and is a regular keynote speaker at autism and mental health events. Yenn also works in the Australian Public Service.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.


We can ship to virtually any address in the world. All contintental US orders are free shipping. All other shipments will shipped and you will be charged the rate from the shipping carrier.
